Lucy Caigne, OTR/L, NCG
Lucy earned her Master's of Science in Occupational Therapy from A.T. Still University in 2015 and has since dedicated her career to supporting individuals across all ages with complex health, physical, developmental, and psychosocial needs. As an Occupational Therapist, she worked in school settings helping children ages 5-18 with disabilities optimize their functional performance, and later focused on adult and aging populations in hospital, rehabilitation, and home environments. Now serving as a National Certified Guardian, Lucy continues her commitment to maximizing clients' independence and advocating for their individual needs. In her free time, she enjoys playing with her young children and crafting and working with fiber arts.
Rylee Caigne Gilmore, NCG
Rylee is a Certified National Guardian with a B.A. in Integrative Studies from Arizona State University. A dedicated Oregonian since 2007, she brings extensive experience from her career in family law and probate court with the Oregon Judicial Department, as well as direct personal care services, including operating a care center supporting Oregon families across the lifespan. As a small business owner, Rylee combines her expertise in business administration, judicial services, and community care in her work as a guardian. When not working, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her three children and doodle dog, preferably on the water.
Matt Smith, NCG
Matt is a U.S. Army Veteran who received his M.A. in Multicultural Ministry and spent much of his professional life working as a Spiritual Care Counselor serving patients in their final stages of life and receiving hospice care. Now serving as a National Certified Guardian, Matt continues his commitment to person-centered care and healing by advocating for the individual needs of each client and their personal journey. Matt receives his own healing through daily strolls near Rocky Butte, playing on a neighborhood volleyball team, enjoying pickleball frivolity, parenting a tween and teen with his spouse, hiking and snowboarding in the Cascades, and accompanying a local spiritual community.
Rebecca Loring, COTA/L
Originally from Portland, Maine, Rebecca moved to Portland, Oregon 22 ago and has built a career in advocacy and person-centered care as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. She works with diverse populations, including children with developmental challenges, adults with mental health needs, and those managing neurocognitive or advanced medical conditions. Rebecca is committed to deeply knowing each person she serves and understanding their history and preferences to support their dignity, meaning, and connection. She advocates for clients in medical settings, trains caregivers, and thoughtfully designs living spaces that reflect each client's story. Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys truck camping, hiking, paddle boarding, biking, and creative pursuits in art and design.
Karen Sele
Karen holds degrees in both Social Studies and Education from Linfield College and PSU, respectively. Following a full career with Portland Public Schools, she found herself caring for her elderly parents in assisted living and memory care, and serving as POA and Trustee for her aunt. She brings her personal and professional experiences attending to the needs of children, their families, and the elderly to the team at Caigne Fiduciary Services. She is delighted to be working at Caigne Fiduciary Services and supporting the administrative needs of our clients. In addition to work, she enjoys playing board games with her grown children, walking on the beach, and playing with her dog, Milo.
